Reminds me of a Suriname toad. The female lays the eggs on the males back and presses them into pockets. the Eggs incubate and hatch from the males back swimming free

Actually the pockets with the eggs enclosed within on the back of the frog(A thoroughly repulsive incubation process in my humble opinion BTW) is reminiscent of the pockets on the back and buttocks of the of the Great Unclean One. That you managed to create such realism is quite a feat and I congratulate you on your painting ability.
