This is for nightmarekitty, who noticed when I got to 100 pageviews. Thank you!Actually, quite a few of the first few dozen were from myself as I tried over and over to upload my avatar! I'd say the actual count is closer to 100 now.
You seem to like expressions, so I'm giving you one of Dib's more extreme ones.
This started out as just a simple basic picture of Dib at the blackboard explaining his usual theme. But while I was drawing it, I started thinking about what the poor guy is up against. People can sure refuse to see the obvious...
I know, I know, he wouldn't say that. But drawing it sure felt good.

How is it possible for anybody to buy that? Dib hardly "tortures" her, Gaz is so infantile and self-centered that she THINKS he does.
When he takes the last soda or the last this or that, he is not doing it for the purpose of upsetting her, but simply because he's hungry or thirsty. Watch "Battle Dib" sometime. When he takes the pizza, it is clear he thought she was offering it to him; he even thanks her. Gaz's hysterical, long drawn out overreaction to this minute offense borders on the psychotic, and is far, FAR more deliberately vicious than anything Dib ever did to her.
You think she's justified, do you? If Gaz ate something Dib wanted and HE thought this was reason enough to betray and torment HER for hours when she desperately wanted something, or to beat the living daylights out of HER, would you then be agreeing with HIM? It's the exact same thing.
The way Gaz treats Dib should give him an ironclad excuse TO hate her, but bafflingly he never does. He speaks up for her... something she would never bother to do for him.

By the way, I'm very impressed with the teeth. ^^ Do you take examples from the show, or have you seen some of the style guides that have been floating around? I was just curious, because the only way I would've known that having the teeth like that is actually canon is by the style guide the IZFAS uses.
And I'm VERY, VERY! impressed with the background. Oooooh. o.o (gazes at it for a while) It's so...grimy...in a pretty way... So much detail. SO MUCH! I love it. ^^ Great job!

Thanks! Yes, I download screenshots and study them very carefully. I've also seen some of the style guides. And as for the background? Well, that WAS my department when I worked at an animation studio, so not only did I get a lot of practice at using perspective, I came to expect that if I made a mistake I'd have to draw the entire background all over again!

Reminds me of that part in Frycook where he jumps all over the room. I love your colouring, btw, and the grimy looking detail on the floor is great, and very much like the show.

Having once worked in the layout dept of an animation studio (not this one though), I'd like to get still more accurate, especially with more intricate backgrounds.
I really feel for Dib... or indeed anyone... having to live with such a fiend. That must be the single worst thing in his life. I've always believed that any amount of outside persecution would be bearable if one could only let one's guard down and relax in one's own home. He doesn't get even that.
