I decided to remake my Kong Family Tree so it would look better (and because the previous one was made in MS Paint...)Just to clarify some things:
- Great Aunt Grouchy, Bluster Kong's Mother & Monkey Kong were all mentionned in the Donkey Kong Country Cartoon.
- Cranky Kong's Great Grandfather was mentionned in Donkey Kong Country 3.
- Chunky's bio from the German DK64 website mentions that Lanky is Chunky's uncle once removed.
- Diddy's relation to DK is a bit complicated, since some sources says he's his nephew, while others says he's just his "little buddy", which is why I wrote both in the tree.
I was inspired to remake my old tree when I saw this one online (couldn't find the creator of it though), which is why it has the same background and the images in barrels.

I believe it's official according to a Japanese character guide that Mini Donkey Kong is a younger Donkey Kong Jr. Other than that, this is a very good tree and I'm glad you got stuff like Lanky being Chunky's uncle once removed. I guess maybe you could add Minky from DKC3. Also, who's Monkey Kong?

Wait, the G&W's Mini DK was said to be a younger DKJr in a Japanese manual? I'll have to look that up to be sure before updating the tree. I planned on updating it soon anyways since I also learned that DKJr has an uncle that only appears in the Saturday Supercade cartoon. Also thanks a lot, I really tried a lot to make this tree as comprehensible as possible, with only information that comes from official places. Why add the Minkeys? Are they related to the Kong Family, or are Kongs? Because aside from the fact they are both monkeys, I don't see why they should be added... And finally, Monkey Kong is a Kong that was only mentionned in the last episode of the DKC cartoon, Message in a Bottle Show.

Yes there are two. In Donkey Kong Jr Math, there's a second Junior with pink fur, and since the manual gave him a name, I added him as a separate Kong instead of a recolor.

Maybe one could say Diddy Kong is DK's adopted nephew as something of a third option.

Well, if Nintendo (or another official source like Retro Studios or something) officially says that, I'll edit the tree to mention that. If not, I won't edit the tree to add fan theories. (Sorry, I just want to put stuff that are canon in this tree. I might think about making a fan tree and include all Kongs in it someday though...)
