Ever since Spike grew wings in last week's episode, I've been wanting to draw something that showed that change. Since Twilight has a shared experience with new wing ownership, I have decided to illustrate this picture showing Twilight and Spike growing up together. I even delved into some speculation for a future version of the pair.

Overall, very good.
A minor critique, I would have depicted the final image with Princess Twilight riding (or being carried aloft by) the full-dragon Spike.Β That would have better brought things "full circle" in terms of progression.

Actually, she was supposed to have a defect from the start. But the Hasbro people told them to leave it out. No we're stuck in a very awkward, unfair position...

This version of Twilight is really cool! It's something I would love to see made into a live action feature film

I don't regret my changes to Spike in my fanfics (making him bipedal and about as tall as a 14 year old mage), but the last rendering... It's just so heartwarming and the first is so cute and the two other renderings are awesome.
