I thought I was done with the Little Mages. At least for the time being. But then the mare herself requested it. I know that Arcane Bard is not a real magical class. But who cares? The design for this one was actually quick because I already had her upper body sketched and sitting on my harddrive for a long time as a test image for the speech bubbles in the My Little Mages game back when I was still working on it.Related content

"Not a real magical class"? Dude, as long as you make it sound cool, anything can be a magical class. Look: Eldritch Neomancer, Arcane Geokinetic, Chronomancer. That first one is impossible, since eldritch indicates something old and impossible, while Neo means new. Geokinetic refers to an inate ability, the correct term would be Geomancer, and Chronomancer is ridiculously overpowered. Anything can be a magic class, there are no rules

I think that an arcane bard is the next stage of a bard just like the epic bard is. The difference is that an arcane bard can use music to cast spells like creating explosive notes while an epic bard can use stronger songs that affect companions and enemies than a normal bard.

Huh, I thought Bard was classically a caster-class (say that five times fast) in most RPGs. Using magic through performance- whether it be musical, theatrical, or any other 'bardic talent' someone can come up with that's sufficiently artsy.

And your right. In one game I myself am playing, (called LaTale) the Bard uses water/ice spells to attack and kinda heal. Most of the healing is based on playing it guitar and act like a mid A.O.E. To both heal and buff anyone nearby.

Arcane Bard not a real class? Why not? One gifted with the magic of music is not necessarily restricted to it. There are times in which a bard notices the strength of arcane magic and is drawn toward it. (Plus, if my brother's take on DnD is to be followed, anything is possible if you use the right rulebooks)

A Confectionist. That might work. I mean, the only in-cannon thing we know about Bon Bon is that she has a candy themed cutie mark and an inconsistent voice. I may as well give her a made-up magical class like Confectionist. Though, that is the title of someone who actually is in the trade of making candies.

I think Didj once said that between Luna and Nightmare Moon being two shadow-based classes and no ideas for how to make him look different from every other humanized Sombra that he wasn't gonna draw Sombra.
