Next is Cadence as a Spirit Healer. It's a healer class in Dragon Age, I just like how the title sounds. This one is a long time coming and I actually have a totally different design of her half-finished on my harddrive for the longest time. But it just didn't look like Cadence. It looked like a generic Disney Princess and didn't capture her character at all. Second try, I think I got it. If I can toot my own horn, the shading on the dress turned out better than I had expected.Related content

I admittedly was thinking that Cadence would go for a fantasy class that deals with love, but having read the spirit healer class from Dragon Age, I think I could see why you decided this one.
It makes her a contrast to Chrysalis, who merely brings corpses to "life", but not in the truest sense.

Cadence is not a Mary Sue she is a princess and better then Celestia look you hate her that's fine I don't hate any princess I only hate Bluebood Gilda and Diamond Tiara

I thought that Twilight was the Pony community's Mary Sue and Cadence was the Disney princess.

Β But doesn't Twilight have flaws like her lack of social skills, her obsession compulsion, tries to find a logical way around things.
Cadence is just blah to me.

Equestria Girls?Β Meh, it's not a very good movie and it is very apparent that it was made for the sole purpose of Hasbro pushing their new line of Monster High knock off dolls. You ever hear the joke "... and the prom is tomorrow" about poorly written 90's high school movies? Well, that's the plot. Except at the end, then it oddly turns into an episode of Sailor Moon. But on the other hand, it does have its moments including a well made if not very teeny-bopper musical number. I would never suggest paying to see the movie, but fortunately it is very easy to find, in whole, on Youtube. If anything, it'll give you your pony fix until the end of November.

You did well with Cadence's gradient thing on her dress (which was on her wings in her pony form). IMO, the hair should only hang down to the level of the bottom of her floating wings and the face still seems a little generic. But, hey man, that's just, like, my opinion, man. It's your art, and I applaud you for sharing it with the world.
Never stop improving and I'm sure you'll go far.
