Description I made a comment in my last uploading of this piece that I still wasn't done. This time around, I flossed the ends of the boning. While I realize it's not the traditional style, I like mine because I wove the strands together where they meet.

I'm done touching this thing for a long while. If I decide to add to it some more, I'll have to justify it by actually wearing it again.

Ooh! I don't know if I got a chance to comment on you wearing it, but I did see it - and man, this is really a great corset job!

I think the stitching of the bones down is wonderful - I actually thought, at first, that it was intentional embroidery to look like fairy wings!

The amount of boning in it is just awesome, too

Thank you lady!

The particular "style" of embroidery is actually functional as well as visually interesting It's meant to keep bones in place and keep the vertical fabric tension to avoid or reduce wrinkles. The design itself is my take on the traditional bee flossing.

I like a lot of boning. Being squishy, I feel like it keeps things in place more. And the boning in this is a combination of flats and spirals (and lacing bones in the front).

Awesome construction, and the color is PERFECT for absinthe. <3 I also love the little detail stitching.

It still has its flaws, but each project sheds more light on how to improve. And as I told a previous commenter, I was also contemplating an emerald green because it looks better for my skin than the funky limey shade here. Thanks for the comment and the fave!

Thanks! I was on the fence about the shade when I was going through initial plans. I'm glad I stuck with this one now instead of the original emerald I was thinking about. And thanks for adding this to your faves
