This was a secret santa gift for geekmaster G.Well, actually, it's only the wrapping, but I like to give hints to what's inside with the wrapping (if you guess it, I'll feature you in a journal
)The box is made of a much longer cardboard box. I cut it off and had to refold it. Then paint it, put the little poster and the police sign on it and on top is a white transparent tack.
I'm not a Dr Who fan, I looked up he design on the net. Besides, it's only meant as a gift wrap. So, if there are any mistakes, I'm fine with it.

This is awesome, I can recall when there was a real police box outside my grandmothers home! It was used to house a telephone and the local police man had the only key, which he regularly lost, so my grandfather used to er Help to open it.
I feel so old now lol.
I hope who ever recived it was totally blown away by the attention to detail you put in to it! thats some very fancy gift wrapping skills right there

Actually, this kind of telephone box is completely unknown to me. Ours are yellow and I don't know if they ever were police only.

We used to have red telephone boxes but now if there are any they are all steel doors and utilitarian looking, I miss the red ones, but I guess mobile phones mean no one needs them much now.

I know there were some in the city, but I doubt they are still there. I have to pay attention next time I'm in the city.
But your right, with every one having a cell phone, telephone boxes aren't of much use anymore.
