Web comic originally posted February 2017.

This is an expanded web comic adaptation (featuring added cameos by Outbreak's Alyssa Ashcroft ad the Left 4 Dead crew) of the final scene in my fanfic novel Resident Evil: Exodus - The Tale of Elza Walker, centered on the moment when Elza Walker is called to testify in the trial of United States vs. Umbrella Inc. over their illegal bioweapons research and the Raccoon City T-virus Outbreak. The only time in official RE canon this had ever been depicted was the briefest of scenes in Yoko Suzuki's good ending in RE Outbreak File 2 and I felt fans deserved to see more of this key event in the RE franchise. Also, given what happens to Elza in Exodus, it's a given that she was going to be involved in this trial; hence its inclusion at the end of the novel. The only other things I'll say is that I was still learning my web comic skills at the time so this is not as polished as my later efforts, and I was also hampered by the limitations of some of the character models I chose. Okay, enough yakking. Read on, I hope you enjoy it, and I ask that you post your thoughts on "The Witness" in the Comments section at the bottom of each page.
