On a street corner in Washington DC during the United for Peace and Justice Anti-War protest & march we have “Breast not Bombs”... Well, it’s not really Abercrombie & Fitch but we have two beautiful young people here protesting the war in Iraq with the Breast not Bombs folks. I’d say this was the show stopper. Two women from Northern California were out on a street corner with their tops off singing their chant of peace “Breast not bombs - Titties not tanks - Mammaries not missiles - Nipples not napalm - The issue is Soft Tissue!” I was amazed how women passing by would tear off their tops and join in the protest. There were some men as well and you’d have to expect that would happen.When: September 24th 2005

Definitely a great photograph, and an interesting story to go with it. However, the proposed correlation between boobs and nuclear warheads confounds me. I don't think you can fight wars with nudity. Granted it may briefly incapacitate the enemy, but in the long run you are looking at no defense.
I think I'm looking too far into this, but I am a logical mind in an increasingly illogical world. Regardless of the nonsensical rallying of the people, your composition and exposure are enthralling. You may have convinced me to take my shirt off just for that.

I personally find breasts much more interesting than bombs, but I guess not everyone agrees, because, you know, breasts have been around forever, but war has, too.

2 Things:
1. Breasts cannot solve the world's problems. I think I understand the sentiment...a spin on the old "Make love, not war" mantra. And it would indeed be a better world if there was more positive energy out there. However, whether a person is happy with the war in Iraq or not...I think it's fair to say that there are problems in the world bigger than breasts. Going bare-chested isn't going to change some people's minds. I doubt Bin Laden or people like him are likely going to be influenced by nipples.
These are serious times, and we need serious answers. "Here are my breasts," does not seem to qualify.
2. I find it interesting that the man's nipple are extremely high on his torso, whereas the woman's are extremely low on hers. An interesting contrast.

Alot of people seem to be saying that others were showing their breast only to show off, or, to just use sex as an appeal. However, I don't see it like that. These people are willing to litterally show so much of themselves, their true selves, in order to stop this war. And that is what makes this so amazing.
