Description Leopold Goentiz from King of Fighters.

The long awaited Orochi boss makes his debut in the REDUX line.

I would have to say Goenitz is one of the top requested characters I have had since Orochi himself. So here you go!

I really wanted to give Goenitz the look of a super villain like you would see in a comic book. Someone who looks like he could destroy his enemy with just a wave of a finger without having to get his hands dirty in melee combat (because KOF bosses are really that powerful ). To achieve this I gave him a more regal and majestic look similar to a Dr. Doom or a Magneto, with a long draping cape and large shoulder pads, and gauntlets. All the while keeping his color scheme and overall style from KOF.

Back again, ready to give some more criticism I hope you don't hate me for all I'm throwing at you, just trying to help. I probably don't understand the whole Redux thing, but I want to give you my opinions and criticism as a fellow SNK fanatic.

Goenitz...thank you, thank you so much! He seriously needed a better design from the get go. His outfit was cool, but the Gendo Ikari look didn't really flow well in my opinion, made him look a little too boring. Now you made him look a lot more of a guy that could be a boss of the Orochi Faithful. Assuming personality sticks, this set-up is awesome. The new boots are a vast improvement over the original, again, giving a stronger boss look. I am very glad that you kept the original uniform, because in honesty, without that, Goenitz isn't Goenitz. I do have mixed feelings about the shoulder decorations. I think they mesh well with this outfit overall, but it kind of reminds me of M.Bison The gauntlets were a nice touch, making his hands appear at least a little more powerful to generate that effortless destruction I think it is interesting that you kept the color scheme for his head the same, I figured that'd be changed. I have to say it works, it definitely works. Not sure how I feel about the little slits of the goatee that go up the sides of his mouth, but they make it an interesting design. I absolutely love what you did with the hair, you yet again give him more of a boss feel. The ponytail is pretty awesome, and is a welcomed fresh change to him. I think those long eyebrows are menacing, but I think you should shorten the length a little, don't know if you want Ken Masters's eyebrows

Overall Rating: A+

Analysis: Awesome design, awesome changes. Only thing I feel is that it loses a smidge of that Goenitz feel, but this design and everything about it is incredibly solid. Make sure to keep him cocky and you've got a masterpiece! SNK needs to pay you for this design

The only thing that doesn't feel right to me with his character is the pony tail. Other than that love the super villain thing you got going on here.

Damn you're good. Sorry for swearing but I couldn't help myself. It just amazes me how amazing your redo's are. Udon desperately needs to hire you. I just can't wait to see who you'll do next.

I figured you would play up Goentiz's priest aspects. Instead, you went the other way and reworked super-villain aspects to make him more dangerous. Genius! That spiral energy over his raised hand fully makes me believe he would wipe out a tank devision with one power burst. I fear him now, and it's all thanks to you.

I finally bought ps1 KOF 99 and the ps2 KOF 00/01 to complete my KOF collection. I can't wait to see what you have in store for Ron, Krizalid, Zero, Igniz, Misty, and the head-honcho NESTS himself. I can hardly wait!

I like to call him "Better Gendo" Geonitz is much more badass than that wanker. He is one of my favorite fighting game bosses alongside the person whom he gave the Orochi power to.

Goeniko is a less awesome version of him. I don't get how she came about.
