I really like the skintones and the warmth of the picture. The fact that you made him half-smiling almost makes it different from the other generic Zuko pictures out there XD
I would only say that his eyes are slightly too far down his face, but great work on the scar!

This is definately a gorgeous piece, very well done! I love how realistic it looks. I don't think his eyes look QUITE like Zuko's, but past that the drawing is gorgeous! Very nicely done, dahlink!

How do you get the painterly quality in this pic?

1) Years of experience and careful observation.
2) Raiding mayang.com's texture library for paper, stone, and paint textures. I paint the thing, then set the texture over it on "overlay" layer mode. The painting is done in Painter.
