Description I keep a file like this open while I'm working, because, somehow, my break from drawing became more drawing. Sketchdumps are just too fun. I've received some comments on making more finished work; we'll see.

Lots of Zelda this time (Peatrice), and PokΓ©mon, of course..
A bit of Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, Sailor Moon, some hand studies and environments. The rest are surplus/original/doodles of whatever came to mind.

what is it about girls' outfits? Dawn's used to trip me up, too.

Reference was used (the official arts) for the outfit on the lowest drawing of Peatrice and all of the drawings of Hawkeye. Everything else was memory/imagination.

Hmm, these are great, wonderful sketches! I think you have really mastered proportions and perspectives!

Especially running White. ;v; That one really got me, the waist and the length of the legs in this perspective really came out as best as they could!

Yes, I picked up one of the volumes when I was little. The authoress is married to one of my favorite manga-ka and their work together is fantastic.

The manga-ka you're talking about is Yoshihiro Togashi (Yu Yu Hakusho/HunterxHunter) right? Did they work together? I'd run a marathon to see the results of that!

It's such a cute picture, even your unfinished drawings are so attention-grabbing! Hope I'll get to see a finished one in the future.

Yeah! The first chapter of HxH was drawn by Yoshihiro Togashi and colored/toned by Naoko Takeuchi.

Ahh, thank you! Hearing that makes me so happy. lol I really want to direct and control things in a story, and being able to change poses and angles and settings is important. Folks get good at doing what they love.

Thanks! The fixed line weight made the doodles look more cohesive. I'm not sure if I like this more than pencil sketches, but the settings and poses are always fun to draw, regardless of the medium!
