I discovered chainmail when I was about 16 years old. Ever since then it has fascinated me. 3 years ago I visited the Colorado Ren Fair for the first time. I saw some of the beautiful chainmail jewelry for sale there, and was highly impressed. I began making my own chainmail jewelry, and a specific style has emerged.

I have made a total of 5 necklaces like this, and each one has been custom created for the individual who received it. I never use the same pattern or design twice.

The links are sterling-silver plaited, and the beads are swarovski crystals. This took appx. 4-5 hours to make.
