⭐Universe: Wastelands of Tthar ⭐

Prior to the apocalypse that ravaged Tthar, humans created the Caretakers—robots with the prime directive to preserve humanity, and secondly Tthar and it's native wildlife. For this purpose they crafted large self-contained self-sustaining environments called eco-zones. In the aftermath of the apocalypse these eco-zones served as near impenetrable oases rich with resources. It was here that the caretakers set about experimentation, monitoring the outside world and attempting to hone humanity to better adapt in such a hostile environment. The resulting successes were called neosapiens, perfectly designed to thrive in the wastelands.

Among these neosapiens were the Saurin. The saurin being a unique blend of human DNA enhanced and spliced with a large number of lizard DNA, as well as other reptilian species and even a few amphibious species. The resulting species is a ferocious and highly adapted repto-mammalian neosapien at home in the heavily polluted and irradiated wastelands of Tthar. Interestingly saurin are capable of reproduction with humans, as well as most mutants and other neosapiens. Female saurin are capable of laying either eggs, or producing live birth.

Saurin culture tends to be tribalistic and clan-like with a focus on warrior prowess. This combined with their strength and inherent adaptions make them favored as mercenaries.
