Hailing from the Great Beyond, Sive is an Old One—a god-like eldritch entity and type of BFB (Being From Beyond). Sive was the second Old One to physically leave the Great Beyond and enter our material reality. Having arrived on Earth during ancient times, she has existed throughout the ages in different forms and disguises. During her time on Earth she has worked to spread her influence across the planet from the shadows, nurturing madness and working to manipulate events for her own alien agendas and general entertainment.

Sive has gone by many names and titles such as the Mother of Monsters, The Black Tree, The Dark Light, Atta-Nishu the Bat God, and more. Though currently Sive assumes the form of a human woman named Lina Mayers (some art here ), an author and writer residing in the strange town of Northbarrow. In Nortbarrow Sive's presence has acted as a sort of nexus for all manner of dark energy and paranormal phenomena, drawing evil and darkness to her like moths to a flame. The town itself is in her thrall, with every resident part of a cult which worships her. As Lina Mayers, Sive had one son named Jonathon Mayers—someone who would later mutate into a horrifying abomination present in the wilderness outside of town, nicknamed the Bleeding Son.

Sive's powers are god-like. Her true form inspires madness in all who behold her, and she is known to transform men and women into monsters, taking inspiration from the many entities present outside the great Beyond such as vampires, werewolves, ghouls, wendigo, and more. She also seemingly has influence over evil itself and can compel dark creatures to do her bidding. Additionally Sive's presence can cause ambient corruption which manifests as black viney tendrils that creep over surfaces like vines. This corruption can also manifest in people and monsters as black veins, and causes the skin to blacken and become leathery. Most all creatures and people under her thrall are host to this corruption.

Kinda represented here—in her true form her arms often contort and twist at odd angles with one arm usually transforming into a bat-like wing.
