This reminded me so much of those old detective noir movies, that I just had to take a shot at writing a scene for this:
You may be wondering who I am. The door says Clydes Dale. What ponies call me is something else. I’m a Private Eye, and this night brings back memories of long ago…when I met her…
The full moon hung lazily in the sky, like a grapefruit in a gym sock. It dominated the night sky, overseeing the entire city. You wouldn’t think it, but it seemed to add to the already stifling summer heat. All the cider in Equestria couldn’t slake the heat, so I reached for my jack on the rocks. Sadly, the rocks had been covered by the tide, which had now warmed. Disgusted, I chose to choke back the now warm drink.
With a burning gullet to match the heat, I got up to close the blinds. But I did so only partially. The tiniest sliver of light came through, zeroing in on my eyes. As annoying as it was, it served to heighten my mysterious air.
I was trying not to blink when SHE came in. I could tell she was trouble when she came in, but she was the kind of trouble you’d sell your mother for.
She was a vision in bubblegum pink. She had piercing blue eyes that could chill your soul, and boil your blood. Her cotton candy mane was sugar and spice, and boy was it nice. The way she walked as she entered my hole in the wall said there was some heat to this sweet. Her black, form-fitting dress hugged every curve like a steaming locomotive on a mountain track. Every move she took teased me, promising just a tiny peek, but always keeping her covered.
It took a moment for me to regain my composure, hoping she didn’t notice. Clearing my throat, I asked, “Yes, miss?” in my most tough and gravelly voice.
“Got a job for ya, Clydes.” Her voice was like velvet and molasses, and I was the sucker. She threw me an envelope. Not taking my eyes off her, I took it and opened it.
Inside was ten bits and an invitation to a party in Ponyville. “So, what’s the game?”
“Oh, no game. Just a party.” She took out a party whistle and started having some fun with it.
“And the bits?”
“Buy yourself some cider. Better than that drain cleaner you’re drinking now.”
“You said you have a job for me? It can’t all be fun and games.”
This solicited a response. “Who says that!? Have you been talking to Twilight?”
“Who?” In all this time, I had not noticed, but she was fast. In less than a second she was literally eye to eye with me, and it may have been my imagination, but I thought they were literally bulging. Her eyes I mean. She had me by my collar and was staring me down, but lost interest.
After a moment, she backed away. “Wow. You do need to get out. So, will I see you in Ponyville?” She turned around ever so slowly, and tossed her mane. It landed on her back in such a manner that my eyes followed as it cascaded gracefully. It reached the middle of her back, and pointed down to her fine backside.
“Definitely.”
She walked to the door, and put a hoof on the knob. Slowly she turned it and opened the door. Halfway out, she stopped. She gave me that over-the-shoulder look, and spoke.
“You know how to use one these, don’t you Clydes?’ She tossed me her party whistle. ‘You just put your lips together, and blow.”
And she walked out.
I’ve had a lot work since that night, but, on these hot, sweaty summer nights, my mind always wanders down that path. I never got her name, but I’ll never forget her.

I had to read this twice with two tones for pinkie. First, something more serious, and then with her demeanor from the show.
Works very well in both instances.

After 5 minutes of staring and drooling I noticed there was something else in the picture i.e. the background and I must say you missed a great opportunity for an awesome easter egg with the lighted rooms.
But let's not forget about the plot portrayed in here. As well as that amazing contrast with the coloured eye.
And did I mention how awesome that bubblebutt looks?
