I’m still processing what I just witnessed.

So, during all of Season 1 and forward, Steven’s bones have broken, and mended themselves back together instantly. Okay. He stILL HAS SCARS BECAUSE OF IT. UM.

My mind instantly went to Volleyball. Yeah, i don’t think that’s the point, as bones typically will have lil cracks in them from before, but still. Volleyball may have had more foreshadowing then we all originally realized.

I am not okay.

ANYWAYS! I drew this to cope. Kinda. It’s supposed to represent Steven’s skeleton, and I tried to put cracks on his reflection where they were on the X-ray (but flipped because it’s a reflection), plus one big one on his gem. I did that mostly for the metaphor that he is broken, and something’s wrong that he can’t just heal. The source of his problems; his gem. Without it, he never would have been able to hang out with Garnet, Amethyst, or Pearl, wouldn’t have had any reason to want to be a Crystal Gem, and therefore, would never have experienced his traumas. Because he’s part gem, all this stuff happened to him.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing he’s half gem, it’s just the source of a lot of his issues that would have otherwise never happened. Idk what I’m trying to prove, as my own brain is struggling to keep up with my thought process here, but at the time, the cracked gem made sense.

As for the bracelet...

That one may be more self-explanatory.
