What is Super Smash Bros Delta?

Just a project name for a fan project of Super Smash Bros. using a roster of up to 98 fighters. Centered around the idea of a pixel art based fighter that takes some queues from Rivals of Aether to bring a more distinct Smash Bros. experience with mechanics never really tried before. Overtime I may post some conceptual stuff of it but a lot of it is just me spitballing ideas unless someone is up to coding the game. The roster has been mostly decided upon already, with omissions that may seem unusual at first but the main goal was to focus on making the experience more fresh and thus a lot of newcomers are in this. Some newcomers which may at first scratch some heads but that is entirely the point.

Series: Sakura Wars
Stage: ??????

The main heroine and represent of the Imperial Assault Force Flower Division and one of the idols of the Imperial Theater, while not precisely the primary playable she's part of the namesake of the series so for Super Smash Bros. I'd imagine they would pick her in the same vein as KOS-MOS as the main character of the first Sakura Wars game (Ichigo Oogami) is more just a stand-in for the player. Already even outside her mech, Sakura has some good potential with her katana and could take a bit of inspiration from MvC's Jin Saotome in being a fighter who's known to be in a mech out of it for the sake of recognition but still have it appear during a Final Smash. This would be a bit of a creative liberty, but Smash is going to need this more than ever for upcoming fighters who lack the same potential as those like Mario and Sonic. I also thought Sakura Shinguji would be a cool addition as she's part of the big SEGA IPs... even if most her series never left Japan. This leaves with a bit of a Puyo Puyo situation where the series is still seen as popular but only within the country of origin, as it won the top SEGA franchise poll awhile ago which granted it a new series game (Shin Sakura Wars). Onwards, the selection of alternates take from the other girl pilots in the first game with extras including the protagonists of Sakura Wars V and Shin Sakura Wars respectively:
