Hijack is the first born daughter of Lord of Chaos Discord and Mother of the Night, Luna. She is clever with quick wit and a pragmatic disposition. Like her father, she is a creature of chaos - despite insisting she is not...which she disproves by participating in mischief and playing tricks on ponies. A sort of lonely soul, Hijack only has a select few ponies she surrounds herself with, and can see through ponies with sinister intentions like a fish in a clear pond.
Being the first born of one of the most powerful creatures of the night - her mother - she feels like she has big shoes to fill. With her inability to raise the moon and walk among dreams - which gifts were given to her younger sister, Hijack doesn't know whether or not to follow in her father's hooves or her mother's. Sort of "stuck in the middle" is her life at the moment, where she has to compete against her cousins and her younger sister for the crown...not even being sure if she really wants it.
Born and surrounded with ponies being the majority, Hijack had a troublesome childhood at the hooves of her peers and other royals. Books, homework and the library were her friends and she spent countless hours in her aunt's vast castle, rifling through old books and learning about pony history and reading stories. She found solace in animals that couldn't really speak. Blending in with ponykind is something Hijack attempts to do but she knows when to pull back when things are not working the way she wants.
If you make a friend of Hijack, you have a friend for life. She can be a bit snarky and will talk your ear off if you give her the chance, though.
Relationships:
Discord: Hijack thinks he's alright, despite not being super close to him. She loves him, of course. But there are things about him she doesn't feel comfortable with or like...like his past relationships or how he looks at the world. Discord didn't really know how to teach her to control her winter based powers, hating the cold himself and not having much experience with that side of chaos. Hijack is...a nerd. Like Twilight Sparkle. Which is annoying that his own daughter is similar to the Princess of Harmony.
Luna: Her mother! The draconequus adores her mom and they are very close. Not many ponies can wiggle their ways to Luna's heart but Hijack obviously had her hook line and sinker when she was placed in her arms as a wiggling, wet little ball of white. Luna enjoys hearing about her daughter's readings and what she learned. She is understanding of her daughter not being able to raise the moon and tells her gently that it is not in her destiny.
Twilight Sparkle: An aunt by law to Hijack, Twilight Sparkle is a pony - alicorn - she looks up to without shame. They are close and were teacher and student when Hijack was young. This purple pony saved the world and back, and continues to do so while looking beautiful and badass! It's something Hijack strives to be like one day. Twilight tries her best to make her son and Hijack get along and become friends but Hijack feels like it is a lost cause.
Celestia: The Queen of the Sun used to look after Hijack before she had her own foals, and despite being fearful that her niece would be so much like Discord she loved her as her own, and welcomed the new addition to the royal family. Hijack lowkey finds her a biiiiit intimidating, but only because she so graceful and almost flawless. She feels like a timberwolf with clogs on next to her aunt.
Rajani: Being the younger sister, Hijack obviously finds it her duty to protect and bother her sister as much as possible. Rajani is the queen of cool (as she says) and lets her sister's dumb jokes roll off her back like a champ while dumping a bucket of squid ink all over Hijack. They butt heads a lot with their beliefs being different but they do love each other very much. Sometimes Rajani's tricks and jokes go too far which causes Hijack to scream and storm off.
Poetic Justice: Cousin by royalty, the two never really got along. They were indifferent to each other for the most part but that changed when Hijack’s more draconequus side reared it’s ugly head as a school filly Poet avoided her as much as possible. To be fair...he was the butt of her jokes and tricks, and her father didn’t help because he encouraged her. The draconequus regrets how she treated him as a kid and tries to show that she cares for him. They are polite towards each other but she figures Poet doesn’t want anything more.

New version of one of my favorite girls!! She changed a lot, obviously. I liked her old design but it was...ok. It was a bit too complicated and I wanted to streamline Hijack a bit. I always had trouble with her horns...trying to make her spots consistent etc. I really like her now and I think this design matches her personality more.
I also...wanted to make her look for girly. My designs with girls are usually gender neutral-ish but I want some of my next gens to be obviously female. Her snout is more small then it was last time and her eyelashes are very long. She is still big but was slimmed down a bit.
