Description I saw this prompt from and I wanted to fill it out with my own. Like she said, Disney's songs are among some of the best, and narrowing it down to my top 10 favorites was easier said than done. This isn't in official order, but these are definitely my top tier songs.

1. You're Welcome - from Moana became a catchy song to me. The Rock does a fantastic job voicing Maui, and while the lyrics clearing give Maui a bit of an ego it's still fun to see how much this guy has done in Polynesian culture. Fun fact, his different exploits were taking from different mythologies across the Pacific. Yeah, and each mythology describes Maui differently. Some make him out to be a prophet, while others actually say he's a god.

2. Hakuna Matata - from The Lion King is one song I grew up listening to. My parents and I would use this song to try and help me focus on the good things in life. I'm sorry to say to this day it's still hard, but I do know we have life so we can have joy.

3. God Help the Outcasts - The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one song that resonates with me. This song also acts like a prayer to God asking for help and mercy for the people who are facing prejudice and persecution from people who should know better. explained the song much better than I did, but I think we both agree we like how it stands apart from the other songs in this movie. It also gives a nice contrast between being selfless and being selfish.

4. Let It Go - Frozen Yes, I do like this song, but it does resonate with me. Originally meant to be a villain song, it was changed to a more upbeat song about throwing off fears and doubts and accepting ourselves for who we are. I know how people use this song, but it's still one I listen to to lift my spirits.

5. I See The Light Tangled Originally I would've said "I've Got a Dream" is my favorite Tangled song, but I've grown to like this one over the years. When I listen to this song, I get a message of seeing the world isn't darkness, but light. Yeah, there are plenty of dark things out there, but light still exists and that makes going through life easier.

6. You Can Fly - Peter Pan Possibly my favorite song from one of my favorite movies. I love the idea of being able to fly through the sky. The lyrics also talk about thinking about good things, and that can serve as a message about being positive and how it can lift you and others up.

7. Give a Little Whistle - Pinocchio Originally the song from this movie was When You Wish Upon a Star, but I found this song actually helped me out more. The lyrics give a message about resisting temptation, and listening to the voice inside us that warns us when we're about to make a wrong choice. As a religious person, this song just hits close to home for me.

8. Son of Man - Tarzan Phil Collins truly delivered a lot of memorable songs in this Disney movie, and choosing one proved to be more of a challenge. I eventually settled on this one because of the lyrics can be seen as a comparison to our journey through life. We are all as little children, but our choices can help us grow into the men and women God wants us to be.

9. Be Our Guest - Beauty and the Beast, this song has always been something I enjoyed. I'm not sure why. I think something about the visuals helped with it, just seeing pretty much everything alive and trying to make Belle's stay more pleasant. It's just a fun experience that I enjoy.

10. Friend Like Me - Aladdin Robin Williams was, and always will be, the Genie. He just brought a certain spirit to the role that no one else has been able to. This song just sticks out to me because of how Genie is illustrating how much he can do for his new master Aladdin, and Robin William's voice made it seem like Genie was eager to get started. Overall, it just feels fun because it seems like Robin Williams had fun doing it.

I wanted to post this sooner, but I ran out of time this morning. Still, better late than never.
