Maned wolves are really nice animals. They look like wolves with fox heads and fox fur colors. Although, wolves love in the north of our planet, while they live in the south, which means, they aren't close to the real wolves. But it's still possible for a maned wolf to get in contact with grey wolves, if they get transported be humans.
Anyway, Borin looks really nice to my. And the legs are okay, most people my not see what is with them, unless they read your description. And also the overall anatomy is perfect.
Also the tatoos are really fitting the origin of his species (if I'm correct about the maned wolf).
