Darkness fell upon the lands, as night sets in, Sinhoron and Nohoron (Achelousaurus) had settled down for the night, an Ursog (Ursavus) slept in the tree, although woke up after hearing something in the night, the crashing of the undergrowth showed a Mala (Malawisaurus) passing by looking for food, Tic Tak appearing from the ferns, looking for food, he's actually scouting around for bigger prey animals for the others. The Mala paid no heed to the Kuraun, a shadow passed over them.

Tic Tak: Could be night flyer...

He continued on, seeing the Sinhoron and Nohoron herds

Tic Tak: Well.. reporting back to the others.

A bat lands, it hasn't seen Tic Tak, who remained hidden in the ferns, the bat soon attacked one of the Nohorons, which caused a panic, causing them to run towards him

Tic Tak: Come on!

He makes a run for it. Narrowly avoiding being trampled himself, but he makes it back to the group

Issack: You look like Trihoron dung
Tic Tak: TIC TAK WAS NEARLY TRAMPLED THANK YOU!
Noah: What happened?
Tic Tak: Big bat, attack Nohoron, triggered stampede. Need snack, speaking Pettrac (Petrolacosaurus) make good snack!

He snatches it in his jaws before eating it

Chita: Big bat?
Daspelt: Sounds like a Desmodoc, large night flyer, but the Desmodoc never come this far north this season.
Issack: Then again the Shaman mentioned there is a disturbance in nature thanks to Makunta. Lets keep moving, know what this bat can do, best we move on. We press north, to the Umor territory.
Tic Tak: You sure we keep moving at night? What if the Desmodoc attacks?
Issack: We fight.
Matunda: One problem, Tanath, Tiran, Torosus and Kuraun don't fly, Desmodoc do fly.

Issack stops for a moment, considering the possibilities

Issack: Daspelt, there any possible way to kill a Desmodoc?
Daspelt: Grab them by the wings, bit into on their unable to fly. But beware of the teeth.
Issack: Anything else?
Daspelt: Sometimes they carry an illness, drives some mad. Best way to deal with one with this madness illness is to kill them. But before they do, give them a herb that should prevent madness.

Far off, Rorexi had traveled to Torosus territory, finding the skull of Bloodhorn

Jungar: Far from home aren't you?

Rorexi is taken off guard

Rorexi: I mean you no harm Torosus chief.
Jungar: Granted your not the first Tanath to come to Torosus lands, one request we hold on to that Trihoron skull there, unless you heard, the Lands are becoming dangerous.
Rorexi: This Tanath, did he have green markings within his stripes and a white head.
Jungar: Yes, he was accompanied by two of my well best hunters, unless your heard from the Shaman.
Rorexi: Heard? I experienced the horrors of the night, animals panicking, them getting killed, Makunta is poisoning the land.
Jungar: Even so, we're holding our own here, but ever more careful. but I'm growing more so concerned given my hunters have seen human like creatures that can turn into animals, notably Bhediya and Latran (coyote), their scaring off the prey from what we notice Sinhoron avoid out hunting grounds as much as possible. We're starting to feel the disturbance in the balance of nature, its shifting migration routes of the prey, we're having to expand our hunting grounds as of late. Its even effecting the Cro Magnon tribes, the Erectus aren't too concerned about the change, filthy savages. Even had to drive off some of them when they were raiding our storage units.
Rorexi: That bad huh?
Jungar: That doesn't begin to be the half of it.

He shows her a carcass of several Sinhorons

Jungar: Normally we'd rejoice but take a smell.

Rorexi takes sniff at one of the carcasses and she backs away

Rorexi: Sickness?
Jungar: Yeah, this herd went down a couple weeks ago, we don't eat these ones. Not sure how this sickness works, we don't eat them.
Rorexi: Have any other animals gotten the sickness?
Jungar: None we seen. Sun is setting, best you rest up Tanath.
Rorexi: Rest to sure you, the wife of the Chief knows when to rest. I'll follow your advise, but after this, I'm looking for my son. Know where he went?
Jungar: Only thing I heard he went to Tiran Territories. But not best to go that way, desert storms and Dracoks.
Rorexi: I'll take my chances talking with the Tiran chief won't be any trouble.

Issack and company are camping for the night, Tic Tak is the only one up, providing lookout duty

Tic Tak: Tanath think he assign me lookout duty... giant bat probably moved to different hunting ground. Likely use me a bait.

He looks around, the darkness of the night is putting Tic Tak on edge, some animal sounds get him on edge. Then there is silence, another Mala passes by, this somewhat lowers Tic Tak's guard, given its a large plant eater, but a screech sends the plant eater running, Tic Tak is alarmed, then just as he was about to turn to the others, he lets out a scream, as the Desmodoc appears, Issack wakes up getting Tic Tak out of the way, and fights the bat, waking everyone up

Issack Desmodoc is here. Time to battle!
Samatar: Even so, its in the air, your not a flyer!
Issack: Might as well even playing field.

He roars challenging the Desmodoc as it flies above him, then goes in to attack, claws out getting Issack on the head, waiting for the right moment, Issack tail slams the bat, and with it on the ground, tries to bite him, but he manages to avoid getting bitten, but it takes flight again, Issack keeps its eye on it, just as its going to lunge again, Issack opens his jaws and snatches it out of the air slamming it onto the ground, killing it.

Issack: There, bat killed. Come morning we travel to Umor territory.
Tic Tak: Just go to sleep now.
Dasplet: Yeah, its been eventful, but I'd like to sleep.

Issack looks to the wilderness, but then decides to sleep for the night, something in the darkness keeps him alert, but they won't get any closer given there is a group of larger predators nearby.
