Bio:

Ngaire is a dancer for the ʻŌpū people. Since the Kesudari people originated from Māori tribes that came to the islands thousands of years ago, the traditions and cultures of their ancestors have been mostly unchanged. Dancers have always been a part of the Kesudari culture, especially during times of peace and festivity. During the time when the Kesudari mothers are ready to bring their first children into the world, the Kesudari celebrate the birth of any baby by throwing a great feast to celebrate the arrival of new life. Ngaire is one of the main dancers for the tribe and has been participating in the annual celebration of new births ever since she was a child. She has always been very passionate about the annual celebration of new births and has always helped out other dancers to settle in and learn their ways of dance. Ngaire is even more enthusiastic about the annual celebration, since she and her mate Wiyono are currently expecting their first children and are hoping to continue their dances even while pregnant.
