I'm not a fan of Superman, but somehow this picture really strikes me with power, design and composition. I can just picture him flying highspeed with its dynamic pose there.

I think this one is very strongly designed, and that's got a lot to do with its appeal. Plus, I go nuts for any Clark-->Superman pieces.
