Yeah i didn't think of sandals as actual footwear. It looks like it kinda is though. The back half of the foot does to me. I could be wrong though and you could be right.

Now that is one awesome Predator. However I do think the wrist gauntlet would rotate with the arm, in case the hand had to twist while stabbing at something.
