Okay, this is my first attempt at doing 'humanized' characters and since there are a bunch of really wonderful pictures for Portal 2 by other artists, I decided to try my hand at it.

Of course, this is GLaDOS, the villain from Portal and one of the primary antagonists in Portal 2.

Ever since I first saw the promotional videos from Portal 2, I've been anxious for the new game. My favorite of the videos is the movie from the end of Act One (this game seems to be 3-4 acts) in which we realize that GLaDOS is in fact, not dead and pretty ticked off.

I figured this image would, at some point, have a block of dialogue from the story on it, which is why it's layed out the way it is. I'm just not sure what dialogue to put and was anxious to get it posted to see what folks think of it.

If someone would like to play around with adding some of the dialogue to the image, please do and please let me know!

Since this was my first humanized GLaDOS image, I based her off of some of my ideas for what she might look like as well as some other artists' interpretations, primarily the couple of drawings I found by ([link] ), which just triggered some ideas for the picture. I realized I had to put some leaves and vines on her somehow, just because of her sketches.

Okay, so the technical bits:
The model is V4, my custom anime base, with custom head morphs. I was going for something kind of elegantly nasty and sharp, but still beautiful.
The costume is Fantasy Seperates 2 for the dress and Space Dweller V4 for the pants, gauntlets and non-visible boots.
The hair is Charleston hair with a silver, black and golden mat.
The vines are actually from the Gaia set, the only vines I could find that wrapped around her a little.

The trick with this picture is the shaders and post. The shaders are the Grunge and Rag for Daz Shaders by HybridGrunge. Omnifreaker's HSS and Calida's Menswear, Gemstone and Glass for DS.
The lights took a lot longer than they should have, but they turned out alright, I think.
The postwork made this picture work. Photoshopped her eyes to make them glow more, which is what I really wanted with it.

I love the expression on this...
