Brilliant drawing man. I dig the optimistic, "When love is lost" message to it as well. The popped up collar on the guy works well for that. Like he's just been in a tussel or something.

Thanks! but they're not opposites. the idea was that sometimes when you get let down, and feel like there's nothing out there. someone could be waiting right behind you.
