The tone graduation from top to bottom is so very clear, wih the stick working as a joining factor between the top and bottom. If you just regard it in terms of from and colour, it has similarities to some modernist work, or sort of rothko like. The end of the shadow finishing nearly right in the horozontal middle is also such a joy in terms of form.

I loved how these wooden stick things just stood out in the salt plains.. it looks so alone..so old and abandoned just to be found by us..
the tesxtures of the wood is amazing.. I love the feeling I get from this shot.. lonely, yet peaceful in a way
