Oh man, that looks painstaking!! I bought so many of these larger kits but I don't have the courage to tackle them.

Honestly? I prefer larger projects to smaller ones. It's much more satisfying to watch it form beneath your fingers. And as for needing courage...look at the stitching and what kind of special stitches are needed. The fewer there are, the easier the project, generally.

True - I think my problem is just having the time, that and the motivation to keep going.

Motivation is easy once you get them started. Finding the time...I can agree with that. Sometimes is just doesn't seem there're enough hours in the day. Though I've found five minute here, half an hour there, a weekend here, provides more progress than you'd think.

I enjoyed everything up until the detailing. The couching and 96 french knots killed the project for me, unfortunately. Definitely worth the effort, however.

It looks like the work was well worth it, it looks lovely Yeah if I tried to do that I'd probably get through a third of it before throwing it out the window in frustration.

I was about ready to. The couching and then the french knots on top of that...but it was six weeks well worth the effort.

Thank you very much again. The Gold Collection from Dimensions are a little expensive for their size, but most of them are gorgeous.
