I like it, nice and simple but a big impact. I personally didn't see this part coming in the ep. Weiss is not a very affectionate character and I'm pretty sure the only person Weiss has ever hugged was her sister, Winter. So to see her hug Yang was quite a surprise. This pic shows this very well. Weiss is crying obviously missing Yang or anyone from Team RWBY alot. This also a kinda big Freezerburn moment for some fans and while I prefer Whiterose and Bumblebee. Freezerburn isn't that bad. Overall, I like this pic, really simple but with a large meaning or impact

As always, you have created a piece that exceeds my expectations with raw emotion and impact (after all, I watch you because I like your art and the style). The monochromatic shading lends to the dramatic impact and the mood of the piece. The lineart itself is nice, I appreciate the blurring and the perspective. Maybe this is just me being nitpicky, maybe itβs a real thing, but the only part that draws my attention in a negative way is Weissβ head. Compared to her position and the angle, especially in conjunction with her hair, her head looks a bit larger. Most of the time, I would call this style. However, in comparison with your pieces like Treachery and Family Tensions, I can see that the size of the head in comparison to the body is a little different from usual. Other than this little bit about Weissβ head, I donβt see any real issues. I like the way you gave some texture to the gauntlets/Ember Celica? The effects are quite nice too. I enjoyed the composition and the mood especially.

As soon as Weiss got captured, I guessed this would happen -- and it was glorious! After a season of Team RWBY apart, I was so happy to see Yang and Weiss reunite, and they'll hopefully be seeing Ruby soon (and Blake too). This is gorgeously made. Well done!

I honest to God cried at that scene. All of team RWBY suffered as a result of the Battle of Beacon, but Weiss' situation went differently than the others. Ruby had the remains of Team JNPR to cope with Pyrrha's death, Blake had Sun coming to help her and she was accepted back by her family, and Yang had her father to help her heal and get back into shape. They all suffered, but they had people to help them through it.
Weiss, though, didn't have that same luxury. Sure, she had Klein, who was very supportive and helped her escape, but Weiss could never work through her feelings on the Battle of Beacon, especially with Winter away. Her father used her as a tool to gain good credibility and her brother manipulated her so he could gain her position, and the Atlas citizens laughed at what happened at Beacon and when Weiss tried to voice her feelings, she was silenced and slapped. Weiss was never able to let her feelings out on it. Her hugging Yang and saying she missed her was the first time she could finally let her feelings out without fear or judgement.Β

Gorgeous. This was such a beautiful scene. Weiss finally reunited with one of her first true friends, and I think Yang feels the same way. We never saw her spend any time with her old friends from Signal at Beacon, so they must not have meant much to her.
