I really Like the Idea of the Deities of Remnant as Goddesses rather than Gods. After all, the seasonal and elemental maidens are always female (since only females can become maidens), the other relics might also be female, the three silver-eyed warriors (Grimm Reaper/Maria Calavera, Summer Rose(Ruby's mom) and Ruby Rose) are female, Pyrrha Nikos is inspired by the AmazonsΒ despite being based on Achilles and Hector, Nora Valkyrie is basically female ThorΒ (The god she's based on) and her last name is based on the A Norse angel species that's always female and there many strong female characters who are huntresses, leaders, chiefs (Like Raven), even headmasters etc. In a world where there's gender equality since the beginning and there are no many gender issues, it seems that the origins and birth of Remnant are originated from a matriarchal structure/perspective. Plus, I like the designs for the goddesses.
