hot diggity damn it's already been another year since i've uploaded one of these suckers. man, am i out of practice. this took me forever, and it's pretty terrible. (coughslightingandcolorandshadingandplacementandomgew) xPwell, as it were, i kind of missed doing this. i started focusing so much on my drawing that i couldn't find the passion to do manips anymore; plus, to be honest, the community was really turning me off, too. but that shouldn't detract from something you love, right? i'm gonna try getting into this again. i joined Eqcetera, so that should give me some reason to do manips if nothing else.

i had this idea about two creatures that could see the future; one could see one part, and the other could see another. by themselves they can only see murky timelines and a few occasional events, but together they can see the future in perfect clarity. to avoid the creatures using this power for greed, they were created as different species, and made so that when they come into contact with each other, they almost unconsciously attack and harm each other. it doesn't really make much sense, i guess, but it's the idea that kind of inspired this piece.
