hey guys!this is... totally not a valentine's day picture. oops?
it started from an idea a co-worker had yesterday and it somehow turned into this. the horse's coloration/configuration is partially inspired by the "death" horse from red dead redemption: undead nightmare. he's my favourite <3 and yes, that's a melanistic barn owl. i'm not entirely thrilled with the blood/ooze on the horse's withers, so that'll probably get changed sooner than later, but for now, here it is
