I've been fussing over this for a good while now; I did intend to stick with the Oneroi's original color scheme, but given the color of it's arm-eyes it was too hard to resist the green-gold effect. I do love this design very much and I had a lot of fun working with it; I hope I did it justice~

EDIT: refined some details, made it look less transparent. pretty minor stuff, dont hurt yourself looking for it.

glad you like it!! i was a huge fan of the artist who commissioned me to make it, so i went all out (i probably spent 5 times as long on it than i should have, but i was having so much fun with it)

I'd give this all 31 flavors of WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?

Creepy in such an atmospheric way, and green/gold effect lends itself to it nicely.
The lighting from above leads you to the mass of whateverthefuck that sits there, fat and immobile (PLZDEARGODMAKEITIMMOBILE), but very much alive...

This thing has a way of capturing attention, even if it is the only thing on the page

ahaha, such a wonderful reaction! thanks, i really appreciate it~
as you may have noticed i dont normally put my creatures in any sort of context or background, so i tried to in this one a bit; i thought the design and pose deserved a little atmosphere, i suppose. i really dont mind making environments, i think i just all too often find myself getting bored with my drawings even before im done with the creature itself unless its a 'finished' piece.

Well, it wins high marks from me, but Creatures and such generally do (Gotta lend my preferences SOME degree of credit here!)

but the pictures not without its charms (Ew, WTF Slippy?!) with the color scheme and the like.

haha, to be perfectly honest, ive actually never seen...any of the star wars movies...but i thinnkkk i know what character youre talking about, and i see a resemblance (even without having seen it, i hear enough about it to pretty much piece things together on my own)
and im glad you like it! i tried to focus more on atmosphere than i normally do with this one, to do the creepiness of the design justice.

well, you nailed the atmosphere all right; the mix of textures and the gray colors really hit home.
