Tyler Thomas works alongside with Catherine Cougar-ton as an expert cyberhacker who once worked for a computer company until he was fired and arrested for trying to hack into the boss's email and bank account as payback for cutting back on his salary. He lives somewhere in Rainforest District after serving time for his crime (possibly bribed a cop or two to let him out for good behavior), having gotten his paws on a laptop from a few companions and going back to work on his "daily activities" to get in touch with other partners in crime to let him know where he was at, including Catherine whom he met some time ago at a cafe who was there on one of her parents' business trips, hearing her story in how she could not find the three buzzard cretins that attacked her and Cordelia when they were children, never being brought to justice when nobody else saw their faces. With Tyler's help in his ability to have access to unlimited communications, knowledge, personal information, and tracking the address of someone, Catherine was able to find out the identity and names of those culprits, having plans of her own to go to New Avian City where they are located, texting with Tyler every now and then when she can.
