One of the greatest heroes of the galaxy in the 23rd century, our beloved Captain of the Enterprise and our friend James T. Kirk.Went ahead and did this portrait since it seemed needed after the fun of drawing Spock twice. So why not do one of Spock's best friend and eternal brother.
I do have a feeling somewhere in me that there is something off on this portrait. It could be that I'm still a wee bit out of practice with drawing realistically. On the other hand, up to five people at work recognized who this was as I was working on it. Maybe I really am on the right track and I plan to stay on said track until I get realism right. After all, portraits of characters like this make great money as I'm always told.

Wow, you are getting good at realism. I have HIGH respect for realism artist, because my art always looks cartoony, and honestly that is what I want to do.

You are correct. I was thinking 24th because I'm still in the middle of watching all of 'The Next Generation' for the first time and that's the century that series takes place. My bad.
