Sort of. After her mother passed away, Mickey and Minnie became her guardians since her father is a very busy High Lord Chancellor far away, but he visits whenever he gets the chance and never misses a special holiday or Marina's birthday.

Also I love Minnie's room, especially her Bow rack and the pictures she has on her vanity. I do the same thing with pictures of people I care about and I'm 24 (although once I move in with my husband most of them might be moved to the fridge).

There's something to be said about your artwork and that is that you're consistent in your style. You ape the Disney aesthetic incredibly well and have never ceased to be impressive in terms of line and form. Your colors, however, as people have mentioned here, always seem to pop out to the point that visually, it can be painful for the viewer to look at for prolonged periods of time. There's a certain amount of whimsy to this that's cute. However, it would be nice to see you branch out beyond Marina and her ilk. Invent someone new, try a different style. Your shading and textures are expressive and interesting. Push yourself in another direction and see what that produces.

The girls eyes are blank. Because it looks kinda late and she is tired, you should show just a bit of eyelid. Her eyes look like they are jacked up on coffee. And why does Minnie's room look like a 12 year old girls? The pictures are too much. I know that she is all sweet and perky, but she is queen, so she would kinda have to be sophisticated. Lose the photos in the mirror, and the wedding photo kinda scares me....

Definitely much better than the original! It's more easy to guide the eye to the subjects, than when you had the over-saturated purple-ish background. The only things that come to mind are: while glad to see you shaded the iris, you probably should have gone with a darker tone of Marina's already-existing eye color instead of the blue; it makes it seem more like she has two separate eye colors in the same eye. And the irises on her eyes could be pulled just a little closer together - they seem kind of off (particularly the one on the right).
I definitely like the new fluff on Minnie's robes, it does go along better with the style of the image. The head looks right where it should be as well. Great job on taking everyone's critique on the image. Just try to keep everything that's been mentioned by everyone in mind for the next piece.

Marina's eyes look much brighter and child-like in this version, the colors are really much better too, especially the background... glad to see Minnie moved on from her eighties wallpaper
