Description The Mayor of Los Angeles declares the first ever "Sailor Ranger Day", and the city marks the occasion with a large gathering in the park with everyone hoping the sailor scouts themselves turn up to the event. Upon hearing about it, the mares agree that the Sailor Rangers should make an appearance. Sailor Galaxia, meanwhile, hatched her biggest scheme yet: she will bring her Moon Palace to Earth, greatly increasing her power, and call on the long-dormant war Cyclops Zord to defeat the Sailor Rangers once and for all.

In Balboa Park, a large crowd turns out for a special appearance by the Sailor Rangers. The sailor scouts arrive not transformed to show their faces to people and check out the crowds, surprised at how many people have turned out to celebrate. Rarity is a bit worried when she doesn't spot Twilight Sparkle, but assures herself and the others she'll turn up. Tom and Sylvester show up in an attempt to steal the spotlight. As Sailor Galaxia lands her palace in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, everyone in the city is transported to Sailor Galaxia's dark dimension.

After being briefed by Princess Serenity on the extremely dangerous situation, the mares transform and teleport to downtown Los Angeles and summon Megazord to fight Cyclops Zord. The Megazord proves unable to match up, so they summon Dragonzord to boost their power. Despite attacking in every battle mode available to them, the sailor scouts are unable to finish off Cyclops Zord. Princess Serenity finally calls on Titan and the sailor scouts form Ultrazord, which succeeds in destroying much of Cyclops Zord, but its head remains intact. Sailor Galaxia, furious over Cyclops Zord's defeat, creates a sinkhole directly under Titan sucking it in. The sailor scouts attempt to rescue Titan with the MegaDragonzord, but Galaxia blasts it back and Titan is sucked inside completely.

Sailor Galaxia then decides to summon Ivan back to Earth, and upon arriving he instantly restores Cyclops Zord. In the Moon Castle, the mares realize their options are bleak with Ivan back and their Zords still recovering from the hard battle. Regardless, they know they need to move soon if there's any hope of rescuing the citizens of Los Angeles from Sailor Galaxia's dark dimension.

Sailor Galaxia's assault continues while the Sailor Rangers are forced to bide time as the Zords recover. Rainbow Dash decides to take the Zords back into battle, even at half recovered, over Serenity and Fluttershy's objections. The group returns to the city with Megazord to face Cyclops Zord again, but in its weakened state, it is overwhelmed even more quickly than in the previous battle, losing an arm in the process. Rainbow Dash summons Dragonzord as backup, but it too is weak on power, and Cyclops Zord defeats it in one hit by severing its tail. With both Megazord and Dragonzord down, Sailor Galaxia takes direct aim at them with her scepter, overloading their systems. The sailor scouts are forced to evacuate as the Zords disappear piece by piece. Despite fearing the worst, the disappearance of their Zords was actually a security override designed to return them to their hiding places in the event they were ever close to being destroyed.

The sailor scouts are involuntarily detransfromed and land in a still deserted Balboa Park, where they are unable to use their watches to contact the Moon Castle. They went to Fluttershy's lab, where she works feverishly to retune the watches. Before she can finish, Sailor Tin Nyanko arrives with a group of phages, intent on destroying the sailor scouts while they're at their weakest. At the same time, Luna takes the opportunity to hack into Sailor Galaxia's databanks while her palace is still on Earth. While doing so, she uncovers Cyclops Zord's weakness.

Fluttershy completes her work and the group teleports to the Moon Castle just before Sailor Tin Nyanko could attack. Princess Serenity then reveals Luna's critical findings to the mares: Cyclops Zord must adjust its systems to compensate each time the Zords change configurations. Serenity believes if the sailor scouts change modes frequently enough, Cyclops Zord will become overwhelmed and vulnerable.

With the Zords fully recovered, the mares transformed and teleport to the city, call for their Dinozords, and attack individually. They then form the Megazord and Dragonzord in Battle Mode in rapid succession. Cyclops Zord is still dominating, but the Dragonzord manages to sever its bladed hands. After taking another energy blast from Ivan, the sailor scouts summon Titan and once again form the Ultrazord. Serenity's hypothesis is proven correct, and Cyclops Zord was unable to adjust to the frequent changes and locks up. Tin Nyanko is forced to bail out of the cockpit just before Ultrazord obliterates Cyclops Zord. Ivan escapes before the sailor scouts can turn their attention to him. In the Moon Palace, Sailor Galaxia is furious that she was defeated again. This time the three sailor animates tell Galaxia that this loss is entirely Sailor Tin Nyanko's fault. Tin Nyanko quickly suggests they leave Los Angeles before Ultrazord blasts them. With that, Sailor Galaxia and her Moon Palace return to the moon.

Back in Balboa park, the people of Los Angeles are returned from their other-dimensional prison with no knowledge of having been transported there in the first place. The mares arrive to much fanfare. While a group of children argue over which sailor scout is the best, Twilight Sparkle clues them in to a secret: "They're all totally awesome."

In the wake of their toughest battle yet, Princess Serenity thanks the mares for their dedication and offers them the chance to give up the power and return to their everyday lives or choose to remain Sailor Rangers as their decision. All five choose to remain Power Rangers if the Earth is in danger again and Serenity becomes pleased with the mares' decision.
