Description
After the attempt to seize Pixie Hollow, Scary Godmother is in her room, upset. She could not fathom that her childhood friend, Gothel and the other witches would attack them; she ponders for a reason and heads for Dark Tower. The Pixies head to the Dark Forest in search of Queen Clarion. Meanwhile, in Dark Tower, the Sanderson Sisters complain about the fairies of Pixie Hollow and how they managed to defeat them. Sombra on the other hand blames them for their failure.

They are in shock that he would reprimand them. He then mentions that he "hopes" to find someone worthy enough to share his power. This appeals the sisters immensely as this would mean that one of them can have Sombra all to herself. He then tasks them to keep an eye on Hazel who had been trying to escape from her cell. After searching, the Pixies have difficulty determining where Clarion and Sombra are.

Rosetta uses her nature powers and the trees lead them to Dark Tower. While they travel to Dark Tower, the sprites stay behind looking for more clues on Clarion's whereabouts. At Dark Tower, the Pixies run into a worried Scary Godmother, who wishes to know what happened to Gothel and the other witches. With no answers, they enter the school. They then stumble upon the witches, where they are suspended animation to recharge their energy so that they can fight again.

They then hear some strange sounds and go out into the halls to checks. They see the doors disappearing and are then surrounded by the witches. They transform to defend themselves. In Hazel's office, the Sanderson Sisters are complaining to Sombra again. Irritated, he asks why they are here despite the task given to them.

Sarah explains that their dark talents are wasted on guard duty, to which Winnie responds that the action is where their enemies are. Mary takes a look at the crystal ball and notices that Scary Godmother is there. They then explain who she is and Sombra sees her as a weak link, using her as bait for the Pixies. The girls take care of their threats. Scary Godmother then spots Gothel, but it was actually a trap.

Sombra then comes to battle the fairies, and negates their convergence. They do not realize that it was not their convergence which was blocked, only their ability to touch one another. After a heated battle between him and the fairies, the witches inform Sombra that Hazel is trying to escape again. He orders them to deal with the Pixies while he strengthens Hazel's prison bars. The Pixies eventually learn of what Sombra's spell actually does and so, they use convergence at a distance from one another thereby defeating the witches and the professors.

The only problem, a magical hand arises from the rubble and start attacking the Pixies. While they flee, Scary Godmother leads them to safety in unconnected tunnels. They then hear something further down the tunnels and investigate it. They see Sombra strengthen Hazel's lock up spell, they remain hidden until he leaves and greets her. Once Hazel learns that Queen Clarion is missing she tells the girls to seek out Dark Tower's Guardians, for they hear and see everything that happens within the castle walls.

The Pixies find them, but they are under Sombra's control. Vidia then uses her pixie dust to set them free. Gratefully, the Guardians tell them what happened to Queen Clarion. During their own search for her, the pixies were attacked by cats, but, thanks to Floral, all they had in their hearts was love. Also, because of the decrease in negative energy, Lightly was able to track down Clarion. After the girls escaped Dark Tower, Scary Godmother leaves the group and heads out on her own. When they returned to the sprites, they found Queen Clarion trapped in a tree. They then promise her that they will save her.
