One starry night, Rocket and Pikachu looked at the sky with a telescope. Pikachu would like to meet the five aliens that live in space. Suddenly, a flying saucer streaks through the night sky. A beam of light shines and the flying saucer comes down to solid ground. Pikachu climbs onto Rocket's back and looks over his head to find the five green space creatures that came out of the flying saucer. Their names are Grassy, Leafy, Envy, Emerald, and Moss. After they introduced themselves, they all sit down and point to Pizza Planet. They look at pizza planet and asked if the five aliens live there. They weren't kidding. They do so live on pizza planet and they want to go home. Suddenly, the flying saucer breaks apart and that's the reason they came to earth: their flying saucer is damaged after being struck by a small asteroid. The aliens were stranded and just have to get home to pizza planet.

They had to figure out how to get to pizza planet. They ask IPhone and he says that they have to travel into outer space to bring the 5 green aliens back home to pizza planet. Before they can get there, they have to go through the Milky-way and past the asteroids to get to pizza planet. They had to look through the telescope for the Milky-way. They find it, but had to figure out how to get there. What they need is a rocket ship. They saw a rocket ship by the tall trees. Then they realized that Rainbow Dash just got a new rocket ship. Pikachu asks her if they can borrow the rocket ship because it was important. She replies and reminds them that they needed to wear spacesuits: as a way that astronauts wear to keep themselves from being exposed to outer space. Rocket checks Backpack Buddy for 2 spacesuits for both Rocket and Pikachu.

When they put on their spacesuits, including their space helmets, the aliens scurried into the rocket ship and Rocket and Pikachu followed. Rainbow Dash wishes them good luck. They take their seats. They put their seat-belts and shoulder restraints. And they're ready to blast off into outer space. They pat to the beat of the music to gain the rocketship full power until then, it now flies into the sky and into outer space. Once the rocket ship was in outer space, They take their space helmets off and set them aside. They saw constellations which happened to be a group of stars in a picture-formation. After finding the constellations, they saw white fog that looks like milk. It was the milky-way. They couldn't see where they were going. Suddenly, a female voice tells the space explorers how to get through the Milky-way. All they had to do is connect the dots. They started with one and counted up to six. When they were done connecting the dots, it made a constellation picture of a teddy bear. They made a teddy bear constellation. "To get through the Milky-Way, go this way" she says as the teddy bear constellation points to the right. They pilot the rocket ship in the direction the teddy bear constellation was pointing. They thank the teddy bear constellation as they traveled through the Milky-way.

After going through the Milky-way, they pilot the rocket ship pass some planets of different colors. After that, a symbol telling the space explorers to take off their seat-belts appears. They did so and soon they started floating because there was no gravity in outer space. Moss' stomach growls. Pikachu thought Moss must be hungry. They had to find the door that has food inside. Pikachu finds a picture of an apple on one of the six doors which signifies that it's the food door. He opens the food door and the space food flies out and is all over the place. The aliens find their food and have their snack. After their space snack, a comet streaks past. Pikachu wanted to catch a ride on the comet. Comets go very fast. Rocket activates the comet catcher. Everybody on the rocket ship had to buckle back up to catch a ride on the comet. The comet catcher grabs the comet and they all got a very fast ride.

After that, Pikachu realized that the comet took them to the asteroids. The Rocket Ship has to avoid bumping into the asteroids. The rocketship has to fly up 3 times over 3 sizes of asteroids. They were so close to taking the aliens back home to pizza planet. Rocket flips the lever and then the rocket ship stops. Pikachu wondered what happened. A buzzing sound occurs where the battery symbol is located on the rocket ship dashboard. They soon realized the battery was out of power and needed to put in a new battery. A new battery comes out of the battery compartment. The five aliens headed out the rocket ship to put in the new battery. They had to hold onto to the rope to avoid floating around all over the place. Suddenly, they hear Big Jet. Pikachu thought it was impossible and that there was no way Big Jet could be in outer space since he's an airliner. Just then, Big Jet appears as a spaceship and was attempting to get the battery. Rocket activates a space shield all over the rocketship to prevent Big Jet from seizing the battery and after that, he flies back to Earth.

Soon after, the aliens replace the worn out battery with a new fresh one from the battery compartment. In no time, the rocket ship rebooted and now Rocket flips the switch again and they can now take the aliens back home to pizza planet. The rocket ship lands on pizza planet. Everybody got out of their seats. Rocket and Pikachu put their space helmets back on. And together, they departed the rocket ship. As they followed, they started to float a little as they tried to walk. They had to find the five green aliens home. They found the home that is far away. They hop onto a moving sidewalk and had a ride to the aliens home. The aliens were now back at home on pizza planet safe and sound. The episode ends with Rocket and Pikachu returning to Earth so they can bring Rainbow Dash back her rocket ship.
