Description Calina and the alicorns join Rocket in his spaceship in the junkyard to celebrate his one year anniversary on Earth. To commemorate this special day, he plays a video showing his escape from the evil and insane princess Supernova. It also shows him in his new disguise as Rocky, whom his true love Opaline adores. Just as he declares he's never leaving Earth, his ship is pulled off the planet by a Spacetopia royal retrieval ship. Back at Spacetopia, Calina and Rocket are brought before the royal rocketship sisters. Sunlight reveals that the reason for this sudden capture was because someone is trying to eliminate her, as evidenced by the many mysterious lasers that are constantly being shot at her. She now wants Rocket to become King of Spacetopia so she can go into hiding.

Calina takes the stand by vowing to find out who was behind all this while Sunlight hides on Earth, posing as Calina using the fake-i-fier. She briefly informs her sister Starlight about her mannerisms and that the answer for every question is "I didn't do it." Soon after she leaves and Starlight goes on vacation to Spa Planet, Rocket is quickly crowned king. Just as Calina gets her detective gear on, Supernova storms into the palace halls, revealing herself as the would-be assassin who was planning on making Princess Sunlight paranoid and go into hiding so that Rocket would become king so she could forcibly marry him. She also anticipated that Calina and the ponies would also be with him and thus, she shrinks the latter, diminishing their magic. After her robot army completely surrounds Rocket, preparing to shoot him with a bazooka if he refused to marry her, he decides to give in and wed Princess Supernova. Shockingly, it is then revealed that she didn't truly love him but really had a desire to take over as the ruler of Spacetopia. The princess then gets her robots to lock them in the highest tower while she planned on destroying Earth. Rocket becomes frantic, scared of missing his date with Opaline; also, it was seemingly impossible to defeat Supernova since she is the greatest warrior in the universe. However, after he shows the "love markings", or rather scars that he got from Opaline for looking at other girls or being late, Calina realizes something and corrects Rocket: there is another warrior in the universe even tougher than Supernova.

Using Rocket's grab nabber, they escape from the tower and they flee Spacetopia after scooping up the tiny figures of the alicorns. Once again, Princess Supernova takes chase and follows them, only to quickly get shot down by Rocket's spaceship.

They then arrive on Earth, meeting up with Sunlight in the process. She then has Rocket delay meeting up with Opaline. When she arrives, ticked off that he was late, Supernova touches down, seeing through Rocket's Rocky disguise. She demands that Rocket be hers, but in an instant, Opaline easily beats her up, repetitively slamming her body on the floor. Calina then takes her shrink ray to restore her shrunken alicorns back to normal. Rocket then rejoices in a romantic moment with Opaline, only for the emotions to short out his fake-i-fier, causing her to reject his rocketship form and simply walk away.

Finally, with Supernova exposed and Sunlight no longer in danger, the rocketships take the former back to their planet to imprison her and end her marriage with Rocket, allowing him to stay on Earth until he feels he's ready to become King of Spacetopia. Meanwhile, back at home, Calina soon learns that Sunlight had made a few mistakes in her life: her parents believed that her weird behavior was a sign of puberty. Therefore, they begin giving her only garbage for food and her dad locks her up in a cage made of wood, fearing a wild mood swing. Elsewhere, Sunny magically shrinks her family down again so that their voices will sound high-pitched and squeaky again, making for an entertaining show.
