Description
At Rainbow Junior High, many students, including Lily and Calina, are gathered around the board of test results in the hallway. A few of the students praise Twilight Sparkle for getting the top score in the class. Rainbow Sparkle appears and praises Lily for making number 7 in the class while making fun of Calina for not getting into the top 50. She counters this by revealing Rainbow Sparkle to have been sick the day of the exams and not being on the results at all. Twilight then walks up to the girls, chastising them for their lackluster performances. Calina pushes her to the ground from her rude name calling and runs away. Rainbow Sparkle goes up to her to make sure she’s okay.

In the Alicorn World, Opaline Arcana assigns the devil Dark Fire to discover the true identities of the rainbow angels and destroy them. He arrives in earth, seeking to find a body to live in to make it easier to find the rainbow angels.

Back at school, Twilight Sparkle is seen in her gym class attempting to do a flip on the horizontal bar, but fails and is humiliated by the other students. Splashing water in his face, Dark Fire appears in front of Twilight and goes into her body. He grants her power to become great at sports and amplifies her resentment towards the students. She approaches the bar once again and surprises the students with a impressive flip.

Afterwards, Dark Fire tells him to find the rainbow angels and against Twilight’s wishes falls asleep inside her body. Rainbow Sparkle then appears and hearing about Twilight’s flip asks her if she could show her. She attempts to go back on the bar but falls due to Dark Fire falling asleep.

The girls are seen walking home talking about Calina’s friendship with Twilight Sparkle, who have been friends since they were little. The two then question her if she likes Twilight Sparkle, to which she claims she loves Captain Leo. This leads to the girls arguing and challenging each other to a cooking competition. Not too far away, Twilight Sparkle is seen watching Rainbow Sparkle. Catching on, Dark Fire suspects Twilight to have a bond on Rainbow Sparkle and manipulates her to try and forcibly hug her.

Twilight follows Rainbow Sparkle into town, but loses her when she suspects him behind her. Once Twilight reaches a construction site, Rainbow Sparkle pops out from behind one of the machines and confronts him about following her. She then runs towards her to pronounce her friendship, causing her to defend herself with her bags of food and resulting in them breaking. Twilight goes up to her and tries to hug her, prompting Rainbow Sparkle to hold her back.

As Twilight continues to force a hug on Rainbow Sparkle, Shield Wing appears and pushes her away, causing her to flee. He catches Rainbow Sparkle from fainting as the two stare at each other and turn away blushing. The two then talk about Twilight Sparkle’s strange behavior and discuss if Rainbow Sparkle may have caused it. She soon gets mad at his teasing and leaves. She then gets upset at their continuous fighting and drops one of her onions, questioning who she is really cooking for.

Lily and Calina are seen preparing their food for the competition. Making chocolate covered bananas, Calina makes an excuse to go see Leo and leaves, taking a flower and angering Lily. As she goes off running, she stops and thinks about Twilight Sparkle, remembering the memory of them playing as kids and decides to owe her an apology.

Dark Fire wakes up sensing Calina’s hope and love and goes out of Twilight Sparkle’s body. He summons the alicorn Randy to see if it’s coming from a rainbow angel. As Calina is walking in town, a dark cloud forms above her. Randy appears and electrocutes her, destroying the bananas she made. Having caught the commotion, Rainbow Sparkle catches up to the alicorn and quickly transforms into her wedding dress.

As Randy continues to demand Calina reveal her true identity by torturing her, Rainbow interrupts the alicorn. Randy turns her attention to Rainbow and tries to attack her. She chases her down and soon is able to strike her, causing her to fall. Before Randy can finish her, Creative uses the Creative Crayon Attack to ward the alicorn off. Rainbow transforms into hero mode as Randy fights Creative.

Rainbow takes out her Red Crystal, but is rendered useless by Randy's lightning. Creative halts her attack with the Sharing Dreams, stopping the alicorn. Rainbow is then able to absorb Randy’s attack and purifies her, returning everything back to normal. As the rainbow angels are finished with their battle, Twilight and Dark Fire are seen from another building having watched the entire fight. He then explains to Twilight Sparkle about the rainbow angels and tells her she must find out their true identities. Twilight Sparkle refuses, but is controlled by the alicorn's power to carry on with the mission.

That night, Lily scolds the two girls for eating her stew she made for Leo, but stops once the girls praise her cooking. Lily then asks Rainbow Sparkle what happened to her chocolate covered bananas, to which she covers up giving it to Shield Wing and says she gave it to her cousin. Due to the two girls not having food to show, Calina calls a truce to their rivalry and they continue to eat the stew. Everyone continues to compliment the stew, flattering Lily and enjoying her cooking with the girls.
