Rocket and Drago run into Twilight Sparkle, explaining that a beast is chasing them. The "beast" is really a beautifly. They notice that she is packing food, water, dynamite, and tents in her jeep. They ask why she is packing. She explains that she is packing for a camp in the wilderness. They ask if they can come, and she says no because the camp is dangerous for them. When Twilight Sparkle gets in her jeep, they sneak in her trunk to try to go to her camp. They fall out of the jeep when they are on their way there. The good news is that they fall out with food, water, and a tent.

They are in the wilderness. Rocket tells Drago that he will set up the tent while Drago starts a campfire. When the tent is set up, he is finished with the campfire. Rocket then notices that Drago did not make a campfire, but rather burned their food instead. Drago tries to put out the fire with the tent, but that just sets the tent on fire. Rocket pours water on it, which makes it go out. Rocket drinks the remaining water. By now, they burned their food, ruined their tent, and lost their water. When Rocket tries to come up with a plan, Drago stops him, stating it was his turn to think of an idea. After a long period of time, Drago ask him if he wanted to play hide and seek. They then notice a nearby cave.

They go in the cave and decide to spend the night there. However, an old man appears and tells them the cave was their new home. The old man then explains that he's lived in the cave for 40 years and there is no way out of the valley. Rocket and Drago try to make a shelter. Rocket is then convinced that Drago wants to eat him. The old man explains to him to eat Drago before he eats him. They then make attempts to eat each other.

The old man is impressed, and he then reveals that he is really Twilight Sparkle. She then reveals that falling out of her truck was no accident and that she was merely testing their survival skills. She then gives them survival badges, but Rocket and Drago suddenly get an interest of eating her and pull out a bottle of ketchup. She then runs away, closing the episode saying, "Next time I'll bring more granola."
