Yay! It's done!
- ya can see the finished piece here but I thought I'd upload the boys like this in me scraps section to comment on them.

I like how the skin tones came out on Jak (Gaussian blur) and the texturizing/shading job on his red collar/scarf thingy. His hair... ye gods, i have no idea how to do his hair. I think I did another ~~Gaussian blur~~ no wait, it was the "ocean ripple" effect that kinda got a little wild under his ear. Nyah well.

You can see I also gave him an eye - an open eye - cause that whole "closed eye" thingy wasn't working out.

So what have i learned?

always ALWAYS finish the line art before running a piece through the scanner. Dang, it was a bee-itch trying to get Jak's eye re-sized and fitted properly in. also,
use Photoshop's Mask function more. (I'd forgotten what it did but remembered once I was halfway through Jak. D'aargh!)
Experimentation is a good thing but document some of the things ya do in case you wanna emulate it later!

So anyway,
YaY! It's finished!

...now to plot out MORE video game character slash!
