To forge a verse of greater ease,
To speak aloud 'mongst gentle breeze,
I weave the words with tender care,
For all who wish to speak or share.
In worlds abound with myriad life,
A profound truth cuts like a knife.
It’s the grand folly of sinful deed,
That blinds the eyes, makes wise hearts bleed.
In shades of envy, tinged with green,
It wraps unseen, a shadowy sheen.
The sultry dance of lust and pride,
Makes morals slide, in shadows hide.
Each sinful step within this dance,
Leads souls in trance, in fateful chance.
This grand folly, with its twisted turn,
Makes hearts yearn, makes spirits burn.
It sweetly whispers, tainting minds,
In shadows binds the good and kind.
This jester sin, it plays its part,
On those apart from virtue’s heart.
Yet, dance of folly is not the last,
For souls can cast their shadows vast.
The beacon of true wisdom's glow,
Can break the show of night and woe.
To see the folly for what it is,
To leave the fizz of sin’s sweet fizz,
Requires will of iron clad,
And grace to add the good and glad.
So contemplate this simple truth,
Of sin’s uncouth and folly’s sleuth.
Within each heart, the war is waged,
On life’s broad stage, through every age.
Every soul has the choice to make,
To wake and shake off folly’s fake.
In struggle’s midst, the wise will know,
The righteous row they need to hoe.
