His golden eyes shot upward to the glimpse of light that went across the sky. In that moment, a feeling of hope bubbled up inside of him, but it was soon gone as the light fizzled out. It was just another falling rock. He knew this all too well but that never kept that minor feeling from appearing every time he saw one of these lights. Some fleeting ancient memories passed quickly though his mind, bringing a smile to his face. Though at the same time, tears fell down his cheeks. Every time he saw these so called shooting stars, it reminded him much he missed everyone and he would always think: I wish I could have said good-bye.

I drew Sanderson a little differently than I normal draw him. I wanted him to more closely reflect that movie version of him. And of course I had to throw MiM in there, he's worried about his friend.
