Images of the life he once had played before him in the dream sand. His heart ached from how much he missed his friends and fellow pilots. It is difficult being the last of your kind.For those who don't know, Sandy was once the pilot of a shooting star. This is some speculation, but from the way it's presented in the book, it seems like Sandy is the last surviving shooting star pilot. There is no way he doesn't have at least some sorrow. He is just really good at masking it.
Not sure how I came about drawing this, but I love it. I hope you like it too.

There are 3 chapter books and 2 picture books in the Guardians of Childhood series which the movies are based on. The 4th of the chapter books is coming out in September. The chapter books are apart of an on going storyline and it's rather good. I can't wait for the next installment.
