Well I have been lurking around DA for a while but I joined up today and thought I would submit my first piece. It's good old Count Duckula (cosgrove hall productions) popping up to invite you down to his coffin.SOME QUICK FACTS ABOUT COUNT DUCKULA (for those of you who don't know him or were to young to remember)
* Count Duckula was a vegetarian vampire (due to his companions igor and nanny accidentally using ketchup instead of blood during the reincarnation process)
* Count Duckula was first seen in the wildly popular DANGER MOUSE (cosgrove hall productions) before being given his own show.
Anyway..... back to my submition.... Count Duckula was drawn with Paint Shop Pro X and Painter 9 and the background image is a stock photo called acsess tunnel by gangrell [link] . Unfortunately when I first started this piece I didn't plan on the count being so big but this is how it ended up and a lot of the photo is blocked from view. It is an outstanding photo though so check it out.... it won't disapoint
Anyway let me know what you think and where I can improve.
P.S Also if you can think of a better catagory for me to put it in that would be appreciated too, I was a bit confused as to where to put it.

Just a few tiny points of crit first - Duckula has some kind of dark shadow around his eyes, not sure why though, just thought you might like to add it in future :/? He also usually has a white shirt under the tuxedo, but I guess a little improvisation doesn't hurt (actually looks quite better blue).
It's great that you've put this up, because there's isn't much Duckula fanart around this site. Keep up with the good work ;D

I have been looking at this deviation thinking that there was something missing about the count but couldn't quite pick it and it' the shadow around his eyes (thanks, it was driving mad thinking about it). The blue vest was intentional. When I first did this picture the count did have the original straight white shirt but I experimented with adding the blue vest to spice it up a bit and was happy with it so even though it was different I let it stay.
Either that or the count spilt some ketchup down the front of his shirt and had to quickly chuck the vest on to hide the stain
