Description Art is normally about fun for me... not this time!

They say that "every dog has his day", well today it's time for my dog to have his day... and his say!

My dog is one of the numerous breeds facing the breed specific legislation here in Australia, and regardless of his outstanding temperament, loving nature and good work in the community, if his breed is added to the breed specific legislation he WILL be declared a dangerous dog and a danger to the community (read his letter and you will see he is anything but this) and he will be added to a very long list of dogs that have already been unfairly judged.

Don't sit their and think it won't happen to your dog... If you don't speak up it could be your breed up on the chopping board next.

This deviation is dedicated to all those that are fighting the BSL and the many less fortunate dogs that have already lossed their lives because of it.

To my precious boy who "wrote" this letter, know that we will fight for you with every breath we take and every cent we make. We love more than life itself

Great piece. I'm very active in the fight against BSL, and love to see some supporters!

Wow... you should send that to your... um... council or something... i'm not sure who/what handles this stuff.

BSL has not effected me of my dogs, but i am still a stong believer in the loveing natere of 'dangerous' breeds and am veryoutspoken about BSL.

i Hope everything works out for you and you family (dogs are family)...

I've seen so many deviations with the exact same message. It's happening everywhere. Even if a dog of a questionable breed was dangerous, does he bite because he chooses to or because he knows no differently? Dogs don't share the same sense of "right and wrong" as we do. They like to survive. A reasonable thing to like, I should think. I would rather be bitten by a dog who sought to defend himself, than be bitten by some politician who knows exactly who he's hurting and doesn't care.

Regardless of what anyone says, dogs don't go out and injure people because they like to. They've been taught that it's the way to survive. Someone taught them that. A person, I don't doubt. The ones who should really be put down are the people who intentionally cause harm. They don't do it out of need, they do it because they like to. Because they're bored.

Who could have guessed that that these sinister beings would need a little help? After all, it's better to hurt someone from far away. That way, they themselves leave without a scratch. A dog is naturally faster, stronger and has considerably bigger teeth than any human. Dogs are perfect tools, and they always have been. They are easily trained to do whatever we wish.

Dogs are almost exactly like their owners. Whether they be a killer or a somersaulting doofus, is entirely up to their owner. So who should be blamed for all of the hurt caused by these "bad" dogs?

Not my somersaulting doofus. If my dog (who wears pink t-shirts on Saturdays) has bitten someone, punish me. Send me to jail. She only does what I tell her.

If not me, punish the idiot who tried to steal her t-shirt!

I've found, through only fourteen years of living, that people are always the problem. I don't think this case is any different.

With this deviation, you've spoken a thousand people's minds. Know that you're not alone in your thinking.
